Delete your Nirvoya account

You can delete your account and personal data at any time. Deletion is permanent.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Nirvoya, go to Passport and tap your photo (or Profile & settings).
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Read what gets deleted, type DELETE and confirm. You are signed out.

By email, if you cannot use the app

Email privacy@templepassport.in from an address we can reach you at, with the subject "Delete my Nirvoya account", and include the phone number you sign in with. We may ask you to confirm it is your number, and we will delete the account and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

• Your profile: name, city, state, date of birth and photo
• All your check-ins, with their photos, captions and location details, and your Darshan Visas and Nitya cards (their QR scan pages then show "not found")
• Your practice: jaap counts, daily temple and streaks, and your Utsav stamps
• Your comments, diyas and follows, your group memberships and chat messages, and your notifications
• Reports you filed, and your sign-in record, so the phone number can sign up fresh later

Groups you created pass to their oldest member, or are deleted if nobody else is in them. We keep no personal data after deletion.
